MONEL® nickel-copper alloy R-405 (UNS N04405) is the free-machining grade of alloy 400. Its greater sulfur content enhances ma Indiability. It has essentially the same corrosion resistance and physical properties as alloy 400, but a slightly different range of mechanical properties.
Monel R-405 wire rod is a coiled Monel R-405 rod, which is continuously hot rolled from a Monel R-405 ingot. The Monel R-405 wire rod produced by RAHUL FERROMETAL has outstanding corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, excellent roundness and white surface. Monel R-405 wire rod also has good flexibility and workability, so it is also the raw material for our various Monel R-405 wires.
