MONEL® alloy K-500 (UNS N05500 / W.Nr. 2.4375) is a nickel-copper alloy which combines the excellent corrosion resistance of MONEL alloy 400 with the added advantages of greater strength and hardness. The increased properties are obtained by adding aluminum and titanium to the nickel-copper base.

Monel K-500 thick-walled pipe is a seamless, thick-walled Monel K-500 pipe. Compared with Monel K-500 seamless pipe, it not only inherits high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, but also has better high pressure resistance. Therefore, Monel K-500 thick-walled tubes are often used in high-pressure equipment. In the manufacturing process, due to the thicker wall thickness, cold rolling and cold drawing processes are no longer applicable, so the Monel K-500 thick-walled pipe is perforated and hot-rolled from Monel K-500 round bar.
