INCONEL® nickel-iron-chromium alloy 706 (UNS N09706) is a precipitation-hardenable alloy that provides high mechanical strength in combination with good fabricability. The characteristics of the alloy are similar to those of INCONEL alloy 718 except that alloy 706 is more readily fabricated, particularly by machining.

Inconel 706 hot-rolled plates are generally nickel alloy sheets & plates products with a thickness more than 3mm - 5mm. Inconel 706 plate inherits the superior corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and fatigue resistance of Inconel 706. In terms of the manufacturing process, Inconel 706 plate can be flattened and cut from coil, it also can be directly hot rolled from Inconel 706 billet. Compared with sheets, Inconel 706 plates have a whiter finish.
