INCONEL alloy 693 (UNS N06693) is a new alloy from Special Metals which offers resistance to high temperature corrosion mechanisms not previously available from a nickel-based alloy. Of particular interest to the designer is the alloy’s resistance to metal dusting.
Inconel 693 hot-rolled plates are generally nickel alloy sheets & plates products with a thickness more than 3mm - 5mm. Inconel 693 plate inherits the superior corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and fatigue resistance of Inconel 693. In terms of the manufacturing process, Inconel 693 plate can be flattened and cut from coil, it also can be directly hot rolled from Inconel 693 billet. Compared with sheets, Inconel 693 plates have a whiter finish.
