As a trustworthy nickel alloy supplier, RAHUL FERROMETAL manufacture all sizes of Inconel 617 (AWS A5.11 ENiCrCoMo-1) welding electrode.
The nominal composition (wt %) of weld metal produced by electrodes of Inconel 617 is 52 Ni, 23 Cr, 12 Co, 9 Mo, 2 Fe, and 1.5 Mn. Electrodes of Inconel 617 are used for welding nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloys (UNS Number N06617) to themselves and to steel, and for surfacing steel with nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum weld metal. The electrodes are also used for applications where optimum strength and oxidation resistance are required above 1500°F [820°C] up to 2100°F [1150°C], especially when welding on base metals of nickel-iron-chromium alloys. Electrodes through the 1/8 in [3.2 mm] size can be used for welding in all positions. Larger electrodes are used for welding in the flat or horizontal positions.

Compared with ERNiCrCoMo-1 filler metal, ENiCrCoMo-1 welding electrode has stricter requirements on some chemical compositions. In addition, the ENiCrCoMo-1 welding electrode requires a higher chromium content.
