INCONEL® alloy 601GC® is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with additions of aluminum, zirconium and nitrogen. High levels of nickel and chromium give the alloy excellent strength and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. Oxidation resistance is further enhanced by the aluminum content.

Inconel 601GC thick-walled pipe is a seamless, thick-walled Inconel 601GC pipe. Compared with Inconel 601GC seamless pipe, it not only inherits high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, but also has better high pressure resistance. Therefore, Inconel 601GC thick-walled tubes are often used in high-pressure equipment. In the manufacturing process, due to the thicker wall thickness, cold rolling and cold drawing processes are no longer applicable, so the Inconel 601GC thick-walled pipe is perforated and hot-rolled from Inconel 601GC round bar.
