INCOLOY® alloy 028 (UNS N08028 / W.Nr. 1.4563) is a highly alloyed austenitic stainless steel offering resistance to a variety of corrosive media. By virtue of its contents of chromium and molybdenum, the alloy offers resistance to both oxidizing and reducing acids and salts. The presence of copper increases its resistance to sulfuric acid.

Incoloy 028 thick-walled pipe is a seamless, thick-walled Incoloy 028 pipe. Compared with Incoloy 028 seamless pipe, it not only inherits high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, but also has better high pressure resistance. Therefore, Incoloy 028 thick-walled tubes are often used in high-pressure equipment. In the manufacturing process, due to the thicker wall thickness, cold rolling and cold drawing processes are no longer applicable, so the Incoloy 028 thick-walled pipe is perforated and hot-rolled from Incoloy 028 round bar.
