HASTELLOY® X alloy (UNS N06002 (W86002) is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy that possesses an exceptional combination of oxidation resistance, fabricability and high-temperature strength. It has also been found to be exceptionally resistant to stress-corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications.

Hastelloy X thick-walled pipe is a seamless, thick-walled Hastelloy X pipe. Compared with Hastelloy X seamless pipe, it not only inherits high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, but also has better high pressure resistance. Therefore, Hastelloy X thick-walled tubes are often used in high-pressure equipment. In the manufacturing process, due to the thicker wall thickness, cold rolling and cold drawing processes are no longer applicable, so the Hastelloy X thick-walled pipe is perforated and hot-rolled from Hastelloy X round bar.
