HASTELLOY® S (UNS N06635) is a nickel-base, high-temperature alloy with a unique combination of properties. It has excellent thermal stability, low thermal expansion and excellent oxidation resistance to 2000 °F (1093 °C). In addition, the alloy has good high-temperature and thermal fatigue strength.

Hastelloy S thick-walled pipe is a seamless, thick-walled Hastelloy S pipe. Compared with Hastelloy S seamless pipe, it not only inherits high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, but also has better high pressure resistance. Therefore, Hastelloy S thick-walled tubes are often used in high-pressure equipment. In the manufacturing process, due to the thicker wall thickness, cold rolling and cold drawing processes are no longer applicable, so the Hastelloy S thick-walled pipe is perforated and hot-rolled from Hastelloy S round bar.
