HASTELLOY® N alloy (UNS N10003) is a nickel-base alloy that was invented at Oak Ridge National Laboratories as a container material for molten fluoride salts. It has good oxidation resistance to hot fluoride salts in the temperature range of 1300 to 1600°F (704 to 871°C).
Hastelloy N hexagon bar (hex bar, hexagonal bar) is a nickel alloy bar with a hexagon cross-section. Since it can be used as the raw material for many Hastelloy N fasteners (such as Hastelloy N screws, Hastelloy N nuts, etc.), it is also one of our most popular Hastelloy N bar products. We can provide hot-rolled, cold-drawn or forged Hastelloy N hexagon bars. The common finish of Hastelloy N hexagon bar is polished finish.
