HASTELLOY alloy G-3 (UNS N06985 / W.Nr. 2.4619) is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with additions of molybdenum and copper. Some of the minor elements are controlled to yield increased resistance to heataffected-zone (HAZ) corrosion and improved weldability. Alloy G-3 has excellent corrosion resistance to oxidizing chemicals and atmospheres.
Hastelloy G-3 hot-rolled plates are generally nickel alloy sheets & plates products with a thickness more than 3mm - 5mm. Hastelloy G-3 plate inherits the superior corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and fatigue resistance of Hastelloy G-3. In terms of the manufacturing process, Hastelloy G-3 plate can be flattened and cut from coil, it also can be directly hot rolled from Hastelloy G-3 billet. Compared with sheets, Hastelloy G-3 plates have a whiter finish.
