HASTELLOY® C-4 alloy (UNS N06455) is the most (microstructurally) stable of the widely used nickel-chromium-molybdenum materials, which are well known for their resistance to many aggressive chemicals, in particular hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and chlorides.

Hastelloy C-4 thick-walled pipe is a seamless, thick-walled Hastelloy C-4 pipe. Compared with Hastelloy C-4 seamless pipe, it not only inherits high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, but also has better high pressure resistance. Therefore, Hastelloy C-4 thick-walled tubes are often used in high-pressure equipment. In the manufacturing process, due to the thicker wall thickness, cold rolling and cold drawing processes are no longer applicable, so the Hastelloy C-4 thick-walled pipe is perforated and hot-rolled from Hastelloy C-4 round bar.
