HASTELLOY® C-2000® alloy (UNS N06200) is unique among the versatile nickel-chromium-molybdenum materials in having a deliberate copper addition. This provides greatly enhanced resistance to sulfuric acid. It also has a high chromium content, to maximize its resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen.
As a very common nickel alloy product, Hastelloy C-2000 sheet is formed by flattening and shearing cold-rolled coil. The thickness of the Hastelloy C-2000 cold-rolled sheet is generally less than 5mm. Unlike plate, Hastelloy C-2000 sheets have a brighter finish. The Hastelloy C-2000 sheet has high strength and good creep resistance at any temperature. It is more fatigue resistant than ordinary alloy sheet. In addition, oxidation resistance is also one of its excellent properties.
