Hastelloy B is a nickel-molybdenum based alloy that is highly resistant to corrosion in reducing environments such as hydrochloric acid and performs well under high temperature conditions. Hastelloy B is one of numerous metal alloys sold by American Elements under the trade name AE Alloys™.
Hastelloy B hot-rolled plates are generally nickel alloy sheets & plates products with a thickness more than 3mm - 5mm. Hastelloy B plate inherits the superior corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and fatigue resistance of Hastelloy B. In terms of the manufacturing process, Hastelloy B plate can be flattened and cut from coil, it also can be directly hot rolled from Hastelloy B billet. Compared with sheets, Hastelloy B plates have a whiter finish.
